Bal Boheme

From 1922 to 1987, the Arts Club’s costumed Bal Boheme was one of Washington’s most colorful and prominent social events. On New Year’s Eve 2016, the spirit of those legendary evenings returned as the Arts Club closed its centennial year with the first Bal Boheme in 29 years, aptly themed “Encore!”.

The celebration filled all parts of the Monroe House and feature cocktails, dinner, music, dancing, and prizes. The special black-tie event served as a fundraiser for the club.
