The Bal Boheme Returns on New Year’s Eve

From 1922 to 1987, the Arts Club’s costumed Bal Boheme was one of Washington’s most colorful and prominent social events. On New Year’s Eve 2016, the spirit of those legendary evenings returns as the Arts Club closes its centennial year with the first Bal Boheme in 29 years, aptly themed “Encore!”.

The celebration will fill all parts of the Monroe House and feature cocktails, dinner, music, dancing, and prizes. The special black-tie event is limited to 300 guests, and serves as a fundraiser for the club. Guests are invited to add to festivity by coming in costume as a salute to the balls of the past.

Watch for more details about the return of the Bal Boheme on Saturday, December 31.
