A Creative Century: The Beginnings

The Arts Club of Washington continues its centennial year with an exhibition designed to further celebrate the Club’s history. Viewers will have the opportunity to delve into the many extraordinary aspects of the Club’s history in all of the arts. In addition to displaying archival photographs and other Club memorabilia viewers will have the opportunity to see rarely displayed paintings, drawings, and prints from the Club’s permanent collection. This exhibition is curated by Patricia Moore, Exhibitions Committee Chair.

Painting DC

This April the Spilsbury Gallery will feature the plein air oil and watercolor paintings of Jack Hannula and Besnik Ajazi.

The Spilsbury is a cooperative gallery run by club members. Other participating artists include: Lorna Aldrich, Cherry Baumbusch, Gloria Benedetto, Camilla Bozzoli, Buzz Covington, Vicki Doyle, Susanne Eisinger, Merete M. Evans, Larry Jarvik, Martine Khadr-Van Schoote, Peggy McNutt, Ruth Meixner-Bird, Carol Porter and Earl Tester.
