Washington Wax Works: 2 pm – 4 pm

Exhibition Dates: February 5 – February 27, 2016

The Arts Club of Washington will present two exciting exhibitions this February. Jack Boul returns to the Arts Club with a selection of paintings and monotypes and for the first time we will present pieces by the Washington Wax Works, a collective of six encaustic artists working in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. They are: Kathleen Anderson, David Evans, Nancy Hacskaylo, Marty Ittner, Katie Dell Kaufman and Kevin Milstead.

The Spilsbury Gallery, a cooperative gallery run by club members, will feature works by Lorna Aldrich, Cherry Baumbusch, Buzz Covington, Vicki Doyle, Susanne Eisinger, Merete M. Evans, Jack Hannula, Larry Jarvik, Martine Khadr-Van Schoote, Peggy McNutt, Ruth Meixner-Bird, and Earl Tester.

 

The Arts Club is open Tuesday – Friday from 10 am – 5 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am – 2 pm. Hours are subject to change. Club Galleries are free and open to the public.
