Art Workshops

Saturday Figure Drawing Class

Award Winning artist and club member Dick Swartz holds a live model painting session in the club’s 3rd floor painting studio.  Classes are offered on the second Saturdays of the month.

Model Fee
Members – $15
Non-Members – $20

Beginning, intermediate, and advanced artists are welcome to participate.

Students are asked to reserve no later than the Thursday before class. The fee for the live model session can be paid the day of the class. To register for class please email Dick Swartz at dickswartz@yahoo.com.

 

Landscape Painting Workshop

Fall Session
September 6 – November 8
Wednesdays, 10 am – 1 pm
.
Instructor Pattee Hipschen accommodates all artistic levels from the beginner to the intermediate.   Students learn ways to improve their paintings through composition, color and technique using both oil and acrylic paint.    Instruction includes individual focus as well as short demos.   Students bring in their own photographs or other reference materials as needed.

9 sessions – $175,    single sessions $25 per class

Friday Portrait Drawing Sessions

Classical painter Teresa Oaxaca will coordinate figure drawing sessions Fridays from 10:30 am to 2 pm beginning Oct. 13.

Students at all levels are welcome at these uninstructed sessions using traditional drawing media.

Non-Members – $20
