Sculpture in the Garden
Open to all active, living artists.
Due Date: May 1, 2018
Fall: September – November 2018
Spring: March – May 2019
Three-dimensional works in all styles and techniques are acceptable. Works must be made of materials that can withstand outdoor weather and not require any maintenance.
Sculptures are selected using a juried sculpture selection process and the selections of the jury are final. The artist must bring the sculpture that was selected, no substitutions.
Artist Submission Requirements
- An entry fee of $25; check or money order made payable to the Arts Club of Washington. Artists may submit between 1 and 3 pieces.
- A résumé or professional bio. Please include an email address and phone number.
- 3 high resolution images of each sculpture from several angles on a CD/DVD-ROM or a Flash drive.
- An image list that includes the title, medium, price, height and approximate weight of the sculpture(s).
All information must be submitted at the same time. Incomplete entries will not be considered.
Selected artists will be responsible for delivering, installing and removing his/her work of art, working closely with the Arts Club of Washington. The Arts Club will not provide equipment such as cranes, boom trucks or generators.
All work must be for sale. The club commission is 40% for non-members and 25% for arts club members.
