We are pleased to announce that Patrick Orange, the former Chef-Owner of La Chaumière Restaurant in Georgetown is taking over the Arts Club kitchen.
A native of the Champagne region in France, Chef Patrick apprenticed at the Culinary School of Reims before taking a two-year Tour de France with the Relais & Chateaux group. He completed his culinary training with French Master Chef, Claude Barnier, at the prestigious Michelin two-star Plaza Athénée in Paris.
He came to Washington at the request of French Master Chef, Robert Greault, to work at the famous La Colline Restaurant on Capitol Hill and a few years later joined another Washington’s culinary institution La Chaumière Restaurant where he worked as Chef then Chef-Owner for over 20 years.
A true culinary artist Chef Patrick’s cuisine is elegant and innovatively inspired by his extensive knowledge of classic French cooking.
