A special “mini-doc” about DC’s most historic nonprofit arts organization

We are very pleased to share with you a marvelous mini-documentary, filmed and produced by DomoNaut, that explores the rich history of The Arts Club of Washington, as well as its buildings and collections.

It is a special look at the Federalist origins of a house that President James Monroe called home, and the many prestigious names that have been part of its journey to becoming a unique hub for the arts in the nation’s capital.

A special thank you to our Historian Martin Murray and House and Garden Committee Chair George Baden for lending their expertise to this project.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our many upcoming events. Our programming portfolio spans the spectrum of creative expression.

Please enjoy the short video below.

Sincerely,

Jameson Freeman

President,
The Arts Club of Washington
